Who We Are
The Medina Chorus has actively contributed to the musical fabric of our community for more than seventy-five years. Members are drawn from the Northeast Ohio region to sing with this ensemble. The Chorus has remained a vibrant part of the arts community in Medina singing in both public performances and appearances at the Medina County Home, The Western Reserve Masonic Community and civic service events. Choral music remains important to our lives and the health of our community.
Music Brings Us Together
The Chorus performs a wide variety of challenging music in two concerts every year. In the last decade our repertoire has included music of George Frederick Handel’s Messiah, the American musical theater, works by European and American composers, Franz Joseph Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Requiem, and Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols.
